ASTL's MAVIS .NET Beta version for Windows is currently being released to specific users for final evaluation and approval, before the company releases it's product in May. Customers will be able to purchase the system directly from ASTL's website towards the end of May or beginning of June.

ASTL's MAVIS Win Mobile App is now in its final stages of completion. The company expects to release it's Beta version to specific users for final evaluation and approval, before the company releases it's product in May. Customers will be able to purchase the system directly from ASTL's website towards the end of May or beginning of June.

ASTL are now actively developing MAVIS for the following platforms - RIM, iPHONE, iPAD and Symbian. Beta and Final product release is expected to be very shortly after the Win Mobile App.

Rich Geruson, a senior voice and mobile industry executive, joins ATSL Board

A leader in the mobile voice industry, Rich Geruson has held senior executive/general management positions at Nokia, IBM, Toshiba and McKinsey & Company and currently serves on the Boards of several technology companies as well as several Advisory Boards.
Most recently he was CEO of VoiceSignal, the world leader in voice-enabled mobile search and other mobile voice solutions. In less than 4 years after arriving at VoiceSignal, Rich increased shareholder value over 10-fold culminating in the sale of the business for a multiple of more than 12 times revenue. Within a year and a half of Rich's arrival, VoiceSignal turned profitable. Now with a volume of over 250 million units, VoiceSignal has become the world leader in embedded voice interface solutions for mobile devices.

Prior to VoiceSignal, Rich was the Senior Vice President at Nokia Mobile Phones in the Americas. In 5 years Rich grew the business 10-fold to $6.5 billion and tripled its market share. This growth not only catapulted Nokia to # 1 market share in the US but also, for the first time, the #1 share in the world. Nokia's brand became the 5th most valuable brand in the world and the # 1 non-US brand in the world. At IBM, Rich was one of the youngest Vice President/General Managers. He stimulated rapid business growth by designing, developing and launching IBM´s first distribution channels for networking products worldwide. As Vice President at Toshiba Americas, Rich doubled market share in mobile PCs from 11% to 22%, taking the business from market share rank of #5 to #1 in less than 4 years.
Rich has been awarded three graduate degrees from Oxford University including a Doctorate from the Sub-faculty of Economics. He was also a member of the research faculty at Harvard Business School, where he completed the highly regarded book: A Theory of Market Strategy, published by Oxford University Press.

Today ASTL launched its new Main and Mobile websites. The sites were developed and designed in conjunction with ASTL’s product development partner DataArt who are based in St Petersburg, Russia.

Windows Mobile being Beta Tested

ASTL’s first mobile phone version of its unique MAVIS speaker verification / identification system is undergoing intensive testing with some of ASTL’s launch customers. ASTL plans to release this Beta version over the coming weeks to various companies and locations around the world so that the system can be tested with multiple languages. ASTL plan to release the Final version towards the end of August 2009.
