Tracking Authorization
Integrated GPS in mobile devices is common place today and as such being utilised in several ways, some key examples are as follows:
- Location and Safety of Children
- Location and Safety of Family and Friends
- Location and Safety of Transport Fleet Drivers
- Location and Safety of Lone Workers (Medical Staff, Officials, Police and other people who work alone and or in remote areas)
Uniquely MAVIS can provide three key critical functions that are fundamental to the safe implementation and operation of these new tracking applications:
- The system verifies that the individual using the handset is the Authorised User or Owner.
- It then verifies that the User is authorised to track the selected Individual. Such as a Parent wanting to check on a child.
- For “Lone Workers”, there is a function within the Menu/Settings section to select the phone to request verification at user defined time intervals. Unsuccessful verification will automatically result in the device dialling for assistance.
